James Harvey, D.C.
Board certified Doctor of Chiropractic specializing in Endocrinology, Nutrition, Cold Laser, and Athletics
Following a severe car crash at age 20, Dr. James Harvey found the benefits of chiropractic care. Previously, he was completely unaware of all forms of holistic healthcare. The chiropractic treatments he underwent not only relieved his whiplash injury from the car crash, but he began to notice a large improvement with his severe asthma. Prior to his experience with chiropractic care, doctors told James that he would be on asthma drugs for life. Within 4 months of chiropractic treatments, he came off of asthma drugs and has not taken a single medication since.
These initial experiences with chiropractic treatment led James to a new philosophy and treatment of disease with a whole body approach to healthcare. James spent three years working as an understudy for two of the country’s foremost holistic doctors prior to entering chiropractic school. James was also mentored by one of the Chief Chiropractic Neurologists in the country while in chiropractic college.
Dr. James Harvey is a graduate of West Virginia University and Parker College of Chiropractic. Prior to entering the chiropractic field, James worked as a personal trainer for many years. This background was instrumental to treating patients with muscle imbalances, which can lead to nerve interference, also called subluxations. Dr. James Harvey has also studied nutrition extensively. He encourages the use of whole food supplements to aid patients with a variety of health ailments and diseases.
Dr. James Harvey has been a practicing chiropractor since March 2005. He’s worked in chiropractic offices since 1999 in a variety of roles.
At age seven, Dr. Nichole Harvey was impaled in a glass aquarium. She was stabbed in 3 places in her back, one laceration only 1/8” away from severing her spinal cord. This trauma caused a great deal of pain and led to many musculoskeletal imbalances. Muscle relaxers and painkillers did nothing to fix the problems. Nichole found chiropractic at age 12 and it improved her quality of living more than she could ever imagine. Nichole Harvey was mentored in Chiropractic for many years prior to college and chiropractic school.
Dr. Nichole Harvey started off college pre-med wanting to be a pediatrician. She spent five years working in a pharmacy and spent some time working in one of the local emergency rooms. This experience was amazing and gave good insight into the medical profession; however, Nichole realized that this was not the safest or most effective way for her to help the community. Chiropractic had been the only thing that had drastically changed Nichole’s life and was something she really had a passion for, so she decided to dedicate her life to this passion.
Nichole graduated Boise State University with a Bachelor of Health Science. At Parker College of Chiropractic she attained a Bachelor of Human Anatomy and her Doctorate of Chiropractic. While attending Parker College, Nichole also attained advanced certifications in pediatrics and prenatal chiropractic care.
Dr. Nichole Harvey has been a practicing chiropractor since 2006. She also worked in a chiropractic office as an assistant in her college years.
